The department of Physics of Duliajan College was established in 1969. The first batch of undergraduate BSc Honours in Physics under Dibrugarh University graduated in 1992. Currently, the department has four permanent faculties with the total student strength of 30 (BSc. 1st semester-11, BSc. 3rd semester- 16, BSc. 5th semester- 03).
