To achieve the mission of quality education in a safe environment, the College has a strong grievance redressal mechanism.
There are several committees which work towards the resolution of issues once complaints are received by the College in a
time-bound manner. Students can either email their grievances to
[email protected]
or submit the complain letter to the Grievance Redressal Box.
- Grievance Redressal Core Committee:
Depending on the nature of the complaint, this committee directs the received complaint to the relevant committee.

- Internal Assessment Monitoring committee:
The finally compiled Internal Assessment marks of all the Departments are displayed on the Departmental Notice Boards
for at least a week. This allows for a prompt correction of errors, should any occur.
Three layers of grievance redressal
- Students can bring issues regarding evaluation and any discrepancies in Internal Assessment marks to the concerned teacher.
- All the faculty members of a Department sit together and scrutinize the Internal Assessment submitted by each faculty member before submission to the college, to ensure consistency across courses.
- Once the Internal Assessment has been submitted, it is also scrutinized by the College Internal Assessment Monitoring Committee. The Internal Assessment Monitoring Committee is a statutory body which deals with grievances which cannot be directly handled at the departmental level.
The composition of the Internal Assessment Monitoring Committee is:
- Vice Principal
- Secretary, DCTU
- One senior teacher from Science
- One senior teacher from Arts
- One senior teacher from Commerce
- Members
- Internal Complaints Committee:
The college has an internal complaints committee in accordance with the University notifications pertaining to the Sexual Harassment of Women
at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressed) Act, 2013 and the UGC guidelines of May 2016 on the same.
